Repeating collisions between rave’s euphoria and darkness animate this new mixtape. Day-glo highs fight to break free from shadowy elegiac moods in a sound-world resonating with lost utopian promise. Drawing on the artist's formative memories of the 90s, the tape explores a sense of vertigo associated with looking simultaneously forwards and backwards in time.
