Two pieces based around fragments of 90s hip-hop, as found, chopped and screwed, on DJ Screw tapes. “Tonight” (140 bpm) layers shreds of Screw tape with drumming and distorted synth lines, building towards a fragmentary song. “7717” (160 / 80 bpm) joins Screw tape fragments to minimal percussion and breakbeats.

This release is a tribute to Robert E. Davis, Jr. (DJ Screw), 1971-2000.
